Hi, I’m Jessica.
I’m a UX and digital designer who wants to solve complex problems and create work that’s meaningful, usable, and beautiful.
I work at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, where I conceptualize and design digital products—including interactives and immersive multimedia experiences
I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2013 with a graduate degree in Graphic Design.
Before I attended MICA, I worked for several years as a magazine journalist. Because of that background—I was on the editorial staff at Harpers, The Atlantic, and The New Republic—I’m highly attuned to words and ideas as well as images.
I’m also an erstwhile art-history major and a lifelong doodler.
I live in Washington with my husband and two cats.
