Hello, I’m Jessica. I’m a UX and digital designer. I’m interested in solving complex problems and creating work that’s meaningful, intuitive, and beautiful.
I work at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, where I conceptualize and design digital products, including interactives and immersive multimedia experiences. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2013 with a graduate degree in Graphic Design. More recently, I took a UX course at General Assembly.
Before MICA, I worked for several years as a magazine journalist. Because of that background—I worked at Harpers, The Atlantic, and The New Republic—I’m highly attuned to words and ideas as well as images.
I’m an erstwhile art-history major and a lifelong doodler.
I live in Washington with my husband and two cats.
