Video Game
I conceived, wrote, and designed a video game to promote Dream Hoarders, a book written by a Brookings fellow named Richard Reeves. The book explores economic mobility and social inequality.
The video game I created to support it offers players the chance to explore the core concepts noted above.

Challenge
The main challenge was to help our audience understand the concepts essayed in Dream Hoarders.
I also wanted to encourage people to take an interest in the topic and buy the book—ideally by accessing a broader audience.

Result
I worked hand-in-glove with our front-end developer to define all the screens and interactions, including how a player advances and ultimately “wins” the game.
I also tested the game in-house and refined it based on internal user feedback.
